Steelers sign Mewelde Moore
Mewelde Moore has been signed by the Steelers hoping to add strength to their running back position. Moore will be used by the team as third –down back and will also serve the purpose of kickoff returner. Mewelde Moore, who is a free agent of the Minnesota Vikings has been taken up by Steelers with the belief that he will be able to take the team to a win, said Mike Tomlin, the coach of Steelers. The coach is hopeful about making use of the punt returning as well as kickoff returning skills of Moore to team’s advantage. Moore was taken to the Vikings in 2004 draft and has served them for 4 years.
Moore thinks that he is really fortunate to make thing happen the way he wants it and is clear about making use of this new opportunity. He said, the coach can mould him in any way, to suit the needs of the team and he is willing to continue with the role the coach gives him. Moore is personally attached to the coach Tomlin and feels that he is a man of integrity and winning attitude. Moore wants to play winning games and that is the reason he accepted the Steelers offer.
